Solar panels are designed to capture as much sunlight as possible and even small obstructions can reduce their efficiency. One often-overlooked issue is paint overspray, which can settle on panels during nearby construction, vandalism, or maintenance work.

A "miracle" product is helping Niagara Falls get a grip on its graffiti problem, said Mayor Jim Diodati.

"This product is unbelievable- it takes the graffiti off almost everywhere without damaging the paint underneath. It's almost a miracle product with how well it works," he said. "Some things are harder than others to remove ... but we have removed about 90 per cent of the graffiti that's been in the city."

The City of Santa Clarita continues to set a powerful example of community-driven graffiti removal and urban beautification. Most recently, the city hosted its 4th Annual Graffiti Removal Day, where volunteers partnered with Santa Clarita’s Graffiti Removal Team to help restore public spaces and remove vandalism across the community.
